Kenneth Miller has dedicated over three decades to advancing soccer officiating in Florida. Since earning his referee certification in 1991 under Jack Holland, Kenneth has served as Referee, Assessor, Instructor, Assignor, and Administrator, contributing significantly to referee development at all levels.
He held key leadership roles, including District Referee Administrator, Assistant Referee Administrator, and State Director of Assessment. Kenneth was also the first FYSA State Game Assignor for both President’s and State Cup competitions. He played a foundational role in educational initiatives, including the “Wet Your Whistle” FSR instruction camp.
Kenneth’s influence extended beyond soccer. A longtime community volunteer, he coached multiple sports and served organizations such as the Knights of Columbus and Ducks Unlimited. He retired from FedEx Freight after nearly 40 years, where he also trained future mechanics and technicians.
Among his honors are Referee of the Year awards from CFRSOA and Lakeland Judges Cup, as well as the prestigious Andy Stone Award from USYS Southern Region. Known for his grit and dedication, Kenneth once finished a match after breaking his leg on the field—while officiating alongside his son.
Guided by mentors like Gunther Charles and Jack Holland, Kenneth has remained committed to the principle: “Give back to the game.” His legacy lives on through the many referees he has inspired and mentored throughout his career.
