If your background check has lapsed in OMS, you may receive a message stating that your referee license is deactivated. If you have completed your fingerprinting and received this message, the deactivated license status will update once FYSA uploads your results into OMS. I appreciate everyone’s patience during this transition. While the Florida Legislature meant well, they did not consult anyone on implementing these new requirements in a way that makes sense for all parties involved.
