- After signing into OMS, click Administration > Update SafeSport/Background Status.
- Scroll down and click the Order Background Check button.
- Return to the homepage and checkout (pay $20).
- A second website (applicantservices.com/soccer/Login…) will open in your browser where you can order the Level 2 background check and set an appointment for fingerprinting. This option becomes available within 30 days of your current background check’s expiration date.
- On the second website, you will provide your email address and a unique six-digit code will be sent to your inbox. The unique six-digit code is needed to order the level 2 background screening.
Classification as Volunteer:
- On the next page, you will be classified as a VOLUNTEER. This is the correct designation for this background check, as set up by the vendor. The dropdown menus are locked, so there is no need to change or worry about it.
OMS Integration with FYSA:
- FSR does not receive background check data. FYSA, with their full-time staff trained to manage sensitive background information, will maintain all records for coaches, club administrators, and referees.
